The rum punch cocktails are amazing. Mr Denis is such a friendly host and the place is intimate enough to make you feel as if you're in his house. Delicious Caribbean food. I had barracuda which was stunning. One of our party had actually lived in Trinidad for a while and he was impressed. Definitely worth a visit.

While the restaurant is quite small, (book in advance) this is more than made up for by the quality of the service - Denis serves you and ensures you're topped up on drinks. Would definitely recommend! The duck dish was absolutely delicious, as was the avocado and prawn starter. Finish with the crepe suzette!
what a fantastic night we had at Chez Dennis if there is a better fillet steak in norwich I would be surprised. The wine list covers all tastes. The service throughout was exceptional
In the last 2 years this restaurant has gone from strength to strength. It thoroughly deserves its top TA status (after discounting fish bars etc .) in the very competitive Norwich listings. I enjoyed a filet cooked with 22 Caribbean spices that was absolutely exquisite. The owner Denis is attentive and his rapport with the chef is evident .The starters... More
Had an amazing meal here with my family at the weekend. It's a little slice of the Caribbean in the heart of Norwich. We all had something different so we could try each other's food, and every meal was a winner!! We shall be going back again and again.
Absolutely fantastic! Excellent friendly service and great food - amazing flavours. The monkfish and crepe suzette were so tasty.
Fabulous French Caribbean food from an genuine chef from St Lucia. Great service and excellent choice on the menu.
My partner and I dined in Chez Denis one evening after a browse on trip advisor for something a little different and we were not let down. The food was good, fresh, authentic home cooking and the Owner was very friendly and more than happy to have a conversation about the menu options. Amazing ginger cake and creme anglaise!
We had a brief overnight stop at a local hotel/spa for our anniversary but wanted to eat out in Norwich itself...we chose Chez Denis as it seemed so different to anything we'd ever been to before...Location is little strange, but feels more of a well kept secret...it was smaller than I expected from the website which made it look quite... considering some of the other reviews maybe i just went on a bad day, but the food at lunch time was just AWFUL? the salad nicoise was not like any other i had ever eaten, and the chef had clearly never been to france. the eggs were poor quality, the vinaigrette dressing insipid, the tuna warm. the baked potato had...
